Catching up...

I really wanted to take a minute, or in my case a couple weeks, to write and let everyone in on what's up with the Brandon family.  Our move from the house to this apartment has been very hard to get used to.  The noise level is nerve racking and space is limited. It is, however, very nice to be in New Braunfels.  We love it here.  Something about Texas hill country that is very relaxing and calming. Just can't wait to be in our new house. As of now it's looking like mid-January until the house is finished.  Lets just hope that's true. I've never been so eager to move! There's just a few things missing..my familia back in Illinois. That would make everything complete.  I'm working on getting them down here eventually.

The moment we arrived in New Braunfels I have been determined to meet new people.  I joined a Kinder Moms group and have had the opportunity of meeting some very nice ladies who are also stay at home mommies.  Back in Oklahoma, I always felt that I could bever get settled.  I had the mind set of not getting to comfortable since we would move one day. I was content with our dear friends on Austrian Pine Drive and the few good friends that we made in OKC. Now I am determined to be settled.  I do realize that I need to be content no matter where I am. I'm working on that.

And of course we have our darling little Liam. Lots going on with Liam these days.  Liam is now 15 months old. He such a happy, funny, lovable baby boy who keeps his momma very busy.  Liam goes to Mother's Day Out once a week to give me a few hours to myself.  As some of you know, Liam has had some difficulties with certain areas of his motor skills. He was currently enrolled into the Early Intervention Program for Texas. Liam sees a Early Intervention Specialist, a Speech Therapist, an occupational Therapist and a Physical Therapist.  These women are so nice and are quickly going to become part of our family as they will each be at our house at least two times a month. It's a lot but Liam is getting all the help he needs and that's fine with me. Other then that Liam is doing amazing and at his 15 month checkup weighed in at 22 lbs and is 32 inches long! Our baby boy is growing!

Liam is being fitted for special braces for his little ankles to help give him the support he needs.  I'll post a picture as soon a we get the braces.

Me and Liam will be flying home November 19 for 13 days.  I cannot wait to see my family and close friends.  It has been way to long since I've been home.
